Bioclub

The Organization “Bioclub” was founded because of a felt need for combining the “life science” related topics within the Department of Biotechnology. In close conjunction with other departments, it serves as a platform for manifold activities in lifesciences. The strength of the Organization is based mainly on the high competence of each of its members.

Who We Are:

The Bio-club is a student organization for students in the Biology departments of Kasturba Gandhi Degree and PG College for women. It represents the interests of Biology students’. On the lighter side, the BioClub hosts Plays, songs and Fun events for the enjoyment of students and faculty. Most importantly, the BioClub exists for biologists to meet peers with similar interests and hopefully make the undergraduate experience more pleasant.

Why we are:

The aim of the organization is the care and the expansion of student networks thereby contributing to the quality development of the college through this “life science – cluster”. To be a catalyst for identification and strengthening of the internal synergies is how the Bioclub understands its role.
